“I’m a 62-year-old woman who has been told by several doctors that I need a facelift, and I probably do. However, I met with Maryellen who discussed some gentler, yet effective options that can be achieved with the use of fillers. I didn’t even realize that I might be able to achieve some of my desired results without having to go under the knife and spend a ton of money.
I’m so happy with the work we’ve done so far and Maryellen was right, a little can go a long way. She made me feel comfortable and secure and has helped guide me the whole way.” – Kim H
Maryellen Bishop, PA-C – Certified Physician Assistant
Maryellen has had a passion for dermatology since working as a dermatology medical assistant in the years prior to attending George Washington University, one of the most competitive Physician Assistant programs and currently ranked 3rd best in the country. During her schooling, Maryellen received training in both elective plastics and elective dermatology. Upon graduating from PA school, she worked in dermatology and also spent a few years in emergency medicine. Following an extensive search to find someone who shared her passion for beautiful, natural-looking aesthetics, attention to detail and the highest quality care, Maryellen was hand-picked by Dr. Gray to mentor in the field of cosmetic dermatology.
Some of you may have already met Maryellen as she has spent the last several months doing her intensive mentorship with Dr. Gray. She has spent untold hours with Dr. Gray perfecting her cosmetic techniques, her dermatologic knowledge base, and her aesthetic eye. Maryellen’s commitment to her training and work ethic is second to none! She was chosen not only because of the traits she shares with Dr. Gray (including being a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket!) but because of her authentic passion in the field of aesthetics and how much she genuinely cares about her patients. Plus, she’s just a nice person! Schedule your appointment with Maryellen today.
Maryellen is now accepting cosmetic patients as well as patients for routine dermatologic concerns. In addition, she is also seeing laser patients on Mondays and Fridays.
